Professional Experience

Gulfstream Aerospace

Savannah, Georgia

Innovation, Engineering, and Flight Intern - Summer 2024
During my summer internship at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA, I gained invaluable experience working in the aerospace industry as part of a professional engineering team responsible for maintaining models and simulations of the entire aircraft. I researched innovative methods for joining aircraft structural components and applied stress analysis simulations to support the G800 design. Additionally, I contributed to the development of an AI stress assistant by organizing large simulation databases using Linux commands. The internship also provided first-hand experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards, deepening my understanding of how these regulations influence the design and certification of advanced aircraft. Paramium Technologies

Tucson, Arizona

Mechanical Engineering Intern - Summer 2023
During my mechanical engineering internship at Paramium Technologies, I developed a robotic system for manufacturing custom-shaped radar reflector arrays. Using Autodesk Inventor, I designed components, including a robot end-of-arm tool and mobile robot platform. Collaborating with Neff Robotics, IST Precision, and Vention, I optimized system performance and ensured quality fabrication by coordinating with local machine shops. Additionally, I prepared a product demonstration that successfully showcased our technology to a major investor, enhancing my skills in CAD design, teamwork, and technical communication.

New Century Industries

Los Angeles, California

Mechatronics Engineering Intern - Summer 2021
During my mechatronics engineering internship at New Century Industries, I designed and programmed (C) a mechatronic positioning system to enhance the efficiency and safety of a sheet metal punch-press process. Using SolidWorks, I developed system components, integrating Teknic motion controllers, stepper and DC motors, actuators, sensors, pneumatic systems, and human-interface elements like LED buttons. I also leveraged Mastercam to create manufacturing profiles for a custom 7-axis steel rim spinner machine, making manual G-code edits to optimize performance. Working closely with the CEO, I gained valuable business management insight and learned how to implement incremental machinery improvements while maintaining operational capacity to meet production demands.

Entrepreneurship Workshop

I attended and presented at an entrepreneurship workshop in Boston, MA at the Microsoft NERD building (adjacent to Harvard and MIT).
